Steve is a native to Ogle County, growing up in Monroe Center and raising his family in Stillman Valley. After 28 years in accounting with a large construction company, Steve followed his dream of owning his own business and purchased the Agency in 2013. Insurance has always been an interest and being able to help people was the driving force behind purchasing the agency.
Steve has the knowledge to help customers make the best possible decisions by providing coverage options that can serve them best. He believes that putting clients first and maintaining a high level of professionalism on their behalf is what makes clients eager to refer Byron Insurance Agency to family and friends.
In his free time, you can find him spending time with his wife Neysa of 35 years, his two grown children, and his grandson, He also enjoys traveling or enjoying a good craft beer with friends. Steve is active in his church community, Stillman Cemetery Board and served on the Stillman Valley Village Board.
To help customers further, Steve is licensed in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, Arizona, Michigan and Tennessee.

Jen has been with the Byron Insurance Agency for six years with eight years of experience in the industry. Jen and her husband are both originally from Dixon and have lived in the Byron area for 20 years. They have two teenage daughters, two cats, one dog, and one painted turtle.
She enjoys music, reading, arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends.
Administrative Manager/Personal Lines
Ashley has worked at Byron Insurance Agency for five years. She lives in Byron with her husband, toddler, and their two dogs. Ashley graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
She enjoys teaching yoga and taking fitness classes at Kinetic Grit CrossFit. Ashley enjoys bowling, swim lessons with her daughter, and watching reality tv.
Commercial Advisor
Kim joined Byron Insurance Agency in September of 2015, bringing over 40 years of experience in Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance. Kim takes pride in helping people understand insurance and offering client solutions in protecting their business and individual needs. Her mission is to provide the best service possible.
